Julian Morris
Julian Morris co-founded and is Executive Director of International Policy Network (www.policynetwork.net), a think tank in London that seeks to remove barriers to enterprise and trade, especially in poorer countries. He is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Buckingham.
Julian has master’s degrees in economics from the Universities of Edinburgh, University College London and Cambridge, and a graduate diploma in law from the University of Westminster. He is the author of dozens of scholarly articles, research papers and monographs, has edited several books, including Sustainable Development: Promoting Progress or Perpetuating Poverty (Profile, 2002) and Rethinking Risk and the Precautionary Principle (Butterworth, 2000), and is co-editor of the Electronic Journal of Sustainable Development (www.ejsd.org). Previously a Research Fellow and Director of the Environment and Technology Programme at the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA), Julian is a Member of the Council of the School of Pharmacy (U. London), the Academic Advisory Council of the IEA, the editorial board of Energy and Environment, and the Boards of several think tanks.
